This is one of my favorite spots on the planet. Steph and I have celebrated our wedding anniversary in San Diego for the past two years--it's now official tradition. From an upper-floor room at the Hyatt Manchester Grand, we take in a spectacular view of San Diego harbor--in fact, we request the same room every year. We know one of the staff members by name, and we get a good deal on the weekend.
As for activities, we typically enjoy strolling and dining in the nearby Gaslamp Quarter, taking in a show, plane/boat/ship/people watching at Harbor Island, and taking several, long runs.
